Moments that Rocked...
One can’t ignore that live music is magic and it will probably always be the best way to get a true sense of an artist. The experience one feels while interacting with a musician while he or she pours their heart out on a lit-up stage is in my opinion a golden experience to savor.
Some years before the pandemic I began to shoot photos at concerts. I did it because I love live music and the challenge of capturing an artist at their finest or most expressive moments during a performance.
As it turned out, Bands started to reply to my Instagram page because they liked my work and the way I portrayed them on stage. Since then, it has just been rocking and rolling. Most of the times I do the shots for my own portfolio, but the bands always get a couple of shots that they can use for their own purpose and in their own social media.
I have covered some concerts and festivals for magazines and have been focusing more and more on that for the future. I have started a cooperation with Jefferson Blues Magazine, the world oldest blues magazine still existing in paper form. I also shoot for Rockbladet.se and Gaffa.se that is a great music websites covering conscert, records and news in the world of Rock.
When I'm not do shootings for magazines, my style is to do mostly all photos in black/white and the reason for that is simple, I just like the clean simplicity not having too many elements disturbing the subject.
The equipment I use is Fujifilm and most of it comes from my favourite camera shop, Kameradoktorn in Stockholm, https://www.kameradoktorn.se/. They have all what you need and have an excellent knowledge of the gear they sell.
I hope you will enjoy my work here on this web page and if there is an ongoing exhibition or you are passing by my home town Uppsala, please come and have a look at my stuff.
Band managers, artists and fans please feel free to contact me,
